Easy Drumming That Sounds Hard

On the heels of a very successful Kickstarter project launch, the one and only Cobus Potgieter pays a visit to the DrumLessons.com studio to talk about The Cobus Method, his YouTube Band Project and to play some intense and creative drum solos and duets with Jared Falk.

If you’re interested in learning more about who Cobus Potgieter is, we encourage you to watch the free live drum lessonCobus Potgieter Live #1.” That free drum lesson and “Cobus Potgieter Live #2” are rich in drumming education as well. You can always use them to learn some new patterns, techniques and concepts.

      Hey Shalom,

Cobus is playing a PDP Concept Series drum set. The kit is made of maple and has a pearlescent white finish. Hope this helps. Take care.

Dear drumlessons.com, I’d like to thank you for making “learning how to play the drums” a lot easier and accessible. I Just started last year and at first I thought it’s already too late for me to learn how to play the drums, but you guys, specially Jared has inspired me and gave me hope. Looking back a year ago, I can say that somehow I’ve learned. I may not become a pro drummer anymore but Im pretty sure I’ll be spending lots of happy times playing the drums as long as I can. Thanks again! Cheers! =)
