The best gift I think I’ve given was to my Mum. She didn’t have any photos of my bterhors, sisters or myself either current ones or ones when we had been little (they had gone to my Dad when my parents separated). I worked on a photobook for months diligently scanning in old photos, picking out her favourites and trying to make a story. I sent it to her as a surprise just last month. She loves it so much, she carries it round with her everywhere and shows & tells everyone who will listen/look about it. Best present ever.
