Yep i totally agree. His style was unique yet very subtle, so relaxed he had the nack of being just on the last bit of the beat, it just goes into the grove so effortless and natural. He’s my favorite drummer with Mooney and Bill Bruford and a massive list of other amazing musicians.Those guys made rock music. The Jimi Hendrix Experience will never ever die !
I’ve played the drums for about 34 of my 39 years of life.Mitch Mitchell was awesome!He is to rock drummers what eric clapton&jimi hendrix are to guitar.He was as good as ginger baker any day of the way,but with more precision than baker.Hopefully,jimi,noel,&mitch are jamming in heaven.I believe jimi for sure is in heaven because he originally put down purple haze,jesus saves,but changed the lyrics @the urging of his producer chas chandler.I know in my mind that the experience is in heaven together reunited,in a land where no one ever dies.We,the fans miss the tree of them,but they’ll live forever on their records&cds. written by dale lee eakle
