Learn How To Play Tom-Tom Beats On The Drums!
I always get a lot of questions from my students asking about toms. Can you do beats on toms, how do I incorporate toms into drum beats, etc. So I created this lesson. Turn to the page marked tom beats. You may recognize some of the pattern here. This is because I am basically just taking those beats and moving some of the drums to the toms. Since you are venturing away from just the snare and the drums for this part, it is important to start slow and get used to playing beats around the whole drum kit.
Fills 6-10 experiment with some of the same patterns you have learned for snare and bass, but bring the toms into the mix.
