A swiss army triplet is a rudiment that should be done with a right hand lead the first time and left hand lead on the next. The rudiment is based on the triplet feel. The three strikes of the triplet are a flam followed by two taps. If you start on your right hand, it will be right hand flam, left hand tap, right hand tap. Remember to alternate lead hands for each run through. As you start out, focus on getting the sequence down. Once you get the sequence down, you can start worrying about getting a nice even tone and building up your speed.
Examples 1 and 2 give you some practice time alone with the rudiment before examples 3 and 4 add in a drum beat leading in to the rudiment.
