Now let's work through some single bass fill ideas. All of the fills in this exercise are hand to feet combinations. I'm going to work them out with my stronger foot first in the video, but you can work them out with any foot you want. This lesson is jam packed with twelve examples, so be sure to take your time working through them and make sure that you have each one down before moving on to the next,. A metronome is important for all of the practice you do, but it is especially important when you start switching to faster note values. You want to make sure that you are changing the value of the notes, but not the tempo. It's easy to get ahead of yourself when you start playing faster.
