Learn How To Play A Single Paradiddle-diddle!
I love the single paradiddle-diddle drum rudiment. The combination of singles and doubles are a great asset to your drumming. You've played paradiddles before, so you know that when you say 'diddle', that is the double of the rudiment. So it's easy to see that the single paradiddle diddle is just like a paradiddle, but with an extra double added at the end of it. So the pattern goes: single, single, double, double.
Examples 1 and 2 give you some practice time alone with the rudiment before examples 3 and 4 add in a drum beat leading in to the rudiment.
