Watch Mike Michalkow Demonstrate The Moeller Method!
This video isn't a play-a-long, or a lesson in the traditional sense. I won't be teaching you anything that you haven't learned in lessons past. The point of this video is for you to SEE the Moeller method in action. Sanford Moeller himself created the method after watching top drummers play. I certainly don't mean to put myself into the top drummer category, but I do think that I provide a good example of the method that Moeller developed from watching those drummers.
Pay attention to how I vary the stick heights in order to vary the dynamics. Pay attention to the whipping motion, the wrist action, and everything else that you have learned in the section to date. Or, simply enjoy the music.
