Latin Drum Play-Along With Downloadable MP3!
In the Baiao lesson, I told you that we had a really great latin play-a-long for you to use. This is it. It's going to be a great way to take what you learned in the lesson, and apply to a real life song. The song starts with an intro on the third beat of the bar. After that the main Baiao groove is played for the whole song. When the piano melody comes in after the guitar, you can change things up by switching from the ride cymbal to the crash cymbal.
After the piano melody, you'll be trading 2 bar solos with the bass guitar. This is a great time to take some of the things that you've learned and make them your own. The solos aren't notated for you. You can pick up on what I do in the video, or you can make up something of your own. Have fun, and try to complement what the bass player is doing. The main Baiao beat returns and continues until the end of the song.
