Funk Drum Play-Along With Downloadable MP3!
The first funk play-a-long was nice and slow, but this one really picks up the place. This one is a blast to play and offers a little more variety than the first one. Pay particular attention to the opening and closing of the hi-hat.
After the intro, you move into two 12 bar patterns. The first 8 bars of both of the patterns is the same, but the last four introduce some variations. The familiar first 8 bar pattern comes back, this time followed by a different 8 bar pattern. The 4 bar, 8 bar pattern returns until the end of the song.
Take the song piece by piece, and once you've got all the parts down and learned their order, have a go a playing along with the track.
