Pandora's Toybox - Misbegotten Candy music video...
02 August 2011 - 05:50 PM
This is the band I've been collaborating with for the last two months. The video was filmed on July 20th at Look Park in Florence, Massachusetts. I'm in the video as the band's drummer, playing with a very scaled down version of my normal kit.
I hope you all enjoy the video! -
My first live show ever...
18 July 2011 - 02:33 PM
Last Friday I played in my first gig ever. It was with the group I've been collaborating with recently, Pandora's Toybox. Below is the entire show in four parts. The band members are listed in the first video and the titles for each song are shown when the song is about to start. I hope you all enjoy.
A bit of a warning though. There's a lot of not so clean language in this concert. -
My first recording session...
19 June 2011 - 02:11 PM
Yesterday I went to Massachusetts to do my first real recording session. The band I recorded for is a very little known band called Pandora's Toybox, although I'm doing what I can to raise their profile. I recorded five songs for their upcoming second full length album, Bleakshow, although only four were filmed. The five songs can be described as radio friendly gothic rock, cheesy folk metal, acoustic country, hip hop influenced grooving, and a polka as if it were played by 80s Metallica. All in all, it took at least 30 overall takes over all five songs to record over a span of about 4 hours. The video below has clips of me recording four of the songs, as well as soundchecking the drums and some of the between take bantering between me and the other two guys in the studio. I will say that it was definitely a learning experience, as well as very exciting to hear my playing mic'd up for the first time. Plus it showed me where a lot of my flaws were (you were right Cody. Recording does show you how bad you really are.
)
Anyway, I hope you enjoy this.
