You are a drummer, where the hell does shy come from.
Shy is for other people. We are ego-driven show off's, we do serial whup a** on guitar players.
I've been called egotisical, pain in the a**, and several other things not fit for a forum like this, but, never and I mean NEVER have I been called or felt shy.
Snap out of it man, you are a drummer, and if the feeling comes back again, go hit a guitar player, does wonders.

I've always been shy. Just part of who I am I guess lol, but some days are worse than others. I'll keep in mind what you said about guitar players, but I like all the guitar players I know lol.

Don't like guitar players. Can lead to serious brain malfunctions. It's like feeding strays, pretty soon they follow you home and you have to keep them.
I'd rather have my second wife back again, and she made Sybil look like June Cleaver.

Hang in there Vic, I'm honing my comedy act and as soon as I get my Viagra jokes down, I'm going on the road again as the unknown drummer and comedian. It's going to be part Robin Williams, part Foster Brookes. I get pretty funny after a half a bottle of Jack.

We just got back from visiting my mother. She's going to be 87 next month and the whole situation is not good. It's hard watching someone you love just wither away.
Someone told me a long time ago that the longer you live, the more people you bury. I'm finding out now how true that statement is.
I lost my mom in july, a week before her 84th birthday. Dad had his 85th yesterday and looks terrible. I know what where you're at. Hang in there

My Mom's going to be 87 on Oct. 5th. I don't think she will see 88. My Dad died at 38, 4 days past his birthday (Sept. 21) he died Sept 25, 1959 a week after a physical that said he was fine. My stepfather is 83, he was at Iwo Jima when he was 17 in the Navy. He has a heart problem. Getting old sucks, not because of the years, it's all the crap that goes with it that pi** me off.
Here is a weird thing. My Dad was 1/2 Shoshonne indian, my stepfather's ship in the war was the USS Shoshonne.
Sorry for your loss.

When you find a way to do it so that everything goes right all the time, you make sure to let me know.
Relax, it's part of the learning process.

yep.. I agree.. nobody started who got all the lessons perfect right away. Until now I can still remember my brother fuming and leaving me alone just because I can't get the 16th note beat right away.
You can do it pal.. We can do it, I mean.
