Ok, here we go!

Although I do have my own website (in the signature), this is also a cool place to post our activities as well! Kudos to Jared and the rest of the folks at FreeDrumLessons.com

Ok, enough sucking up! I've been working on my favorite drum fill, the double handed crossover fill, and I think I've got it. Have a look, and let me know what you think!

Enjoy.

Sounds really cool. It would be nice if you also showed how you would incorporate that in a beat.

What? Are you crazy? You know how long it took me to get this thing right? ;)

Anyways, thanks for the kudos and suggestion. I will try it sometime!

Nice man. I've also been working on that beat too. As for incorporating it into a fill, what I've been doing is a simple floor tom and snare beat, then I'll go into that crossover fill and end it on the snare like you did(The fill not the beat). After ending the fill on the snare I'll do a roll over to the floor tom and end up right where I started with the floor tom and snare beat. Rinse and repeat. Sounds really cool and looks pretty badass too. Keep up the good work dude.

Hi all.

A while ago I put out a video explaining my kit. It's been a while, but I finally updated it. Here's what The Paradiddler plays.

Rock on!

Hi Greg.

I appreciate the kind words! I loves me drums, that's for sure! I may sometime put out a video on how I figured out the double handed crossover fill.

Later!

All right, I'm at it again.

I've uploaded a new drum cover to YouTube, and hopefully it won't get pulled down! In the meantime, here's my take on the Foo Fighter's "All My Life", possibly my favorite song from them. Loads of fun to play!

So...... you gonna come clean about the awesome deal on your Paragon 22" ride yet? I recently bought the same kind on Ebay and I really like it, but I need to get some Moon gel to dampen the sustain. There is way too much of it in my opinion.

The Double Handed Cross Over Fill was amazing! I took a stab at it a while back. I could only play it at a very slow pace.

Loved the song! Foo Fights rock and that is their best song. Great Job!

Alu,

Thanks for the kudos! I'll come clean (I promise!), all in due time. :)

Yes, that fill has always made my jaw drop. It's very deceptive, because all it is is a single stroke roll on steroids. To me, the best application of this rudiment of all (at least the best looking one!).

And so far, "All My Life" is my favorite Foo Fighters song - it was a lot of fun.

Dude that was a cool vid, loved seeing some Foo Fighters being played. The effects you added to your vid were neat too wasn't expecting that.

JK,

Thanks very much! I like adding the effects on occasion, just to surprise. Glad it worked! I did something similar on my "Carry On Wayward Son" cover, which I did seems like eons ago, and not as polished (maybe!) as this cover.
