I already have the rock drumming system w/ Jared. Is it worth spending the extra money to get the drumming system w/ Mike. What are the differences and similarities between the two

I think if you scan through this topic you'll get the best answer you will find. Several of the posts cover what is included and there are reviews to help you decide. In short, DS is MUCH larger than RDS. It covers everything in RDS in more depth and adds a lot of other topics. As to whether it is worth the extra, I think all the posts I've read would say, "absolutely yes", but we each have different budgets and priorities.

There will probably be something closer to Christmas, but at this time we have nothing planned.
You can check out the payment plan options and pay over 3 or 5 months.

You won't be dissapointed, it is a very well done package with tons of stuff to learn and master. Frustration will come from lack of time to practice all

How well are the different music styles covered? Im interested to get into jazz drumming. Will I just learn the very basics of jazz with the DS, or will I learn some more advanced skills aswell? Or should I go for the Jazz Drumming System instead to get a more complete coverage of this music style?

Hi code1,
i own both systems. DS covers the basics of jazz beats and fills. If you are very into jazz, go for the jazz system, it covers everything about jazz, beats and fills, but also about comping, technical approach of the swing feel beside straight feel, as exercices with brushes, ... and plenty of useful advices from the same instructor : Mr Michalkow. You also have more play-alongs than in the jazz section of DS. DS is very good to initiate to all different aspects of drumming. With jazz, you have also access to latin beats & other styles like country, hard, progressive, funk, shuffle, .... But the JS is the complete system to immerse yourself into jazz drumming, i use it sometimes and some of the early beats are really, really "PAS" to play when you are not used to tap with your left foot on 2 & 4

Quick question- How long does it take for RRmedia to process the order when you pay the 25 bucks for expedited shipping? Has anyone been able to get it shipped quickly (possibly overnight)?
Thanks again
