Short lesson: It can't be done effectively unless you have the original multi-track recording, or it is a MIDI file.

I think you should do a lesson on setting up a kit and where to put all the cymbals etc....
Thanks Gavin...

He does alot of free clinics in the California area so he wouldn't mind doing a free clinic online, i guess

No need to yell.
I'm sure Jared is very familiar with Mike's stuff as are most of the rest of us. I like what little I've seen of Mike's lessons, as well.
I think the big question is, how do you envision a joint effort between the two? What are the goals and advantages for everyone involved (things that cannot be accomplished with separate instructors and lessons)? I thought Mike charges for his lessons. I wonder if he wants to do some for free? It would be nice.

Yeah, he charges on his website, but he's always announcing free drum clinics all over California. He uploads Drum Lesson vids on Youtube so I'm sure he will be just fine with a free online drum lesson. I believe theres no need to get to complicated on it, get in, make a lesson, get out. It's good for drummers to find out about other resources they could find on the web and it would effectivel work (if Mike and The FDL Team choose on it) to promote each other, although maybe alot of drummers do know about both. If it could be done with CObus, I'm sure strings could be pulled or Mike. And sorry for screaming XD, I just get excited... haha.... I mean the idea of them working on a collab just ets me all worked up :#, and plues, I meant the screaming on the "hear me out" kinda way and not the "i'm ticked!" kinda way.... LOL..... well yeah... Peace dude.

The Lesson: Don't believe everything you hear from somebody, especially when their conduct disproves it.
