mad props dude, this is what gifting is all about. I'll see what I can dig up to contribute.

Poco, I was wondering if members could make requests for certain items for other members to donate, like a ride cymbal, or a stand, ect.

I think the topic will be better served by letting the driving force be the contributors. I'd hate for it to become a beggars' request line. I don't want to put any pressure on contributors to part with an item. The spirit of giving should originate with them.

well, I meant someone would just ask in general if someone had a certain item, but I can see what you mean by it becoming a beggars request line

On the watch collectors forum this is derived from, requesting any item is strictly prohibited, for the exact reasons Poco stated...

I have a 4 piece red pdp starter kit (no snare or cymbal stands) that has been sitting around my house for a while now... if anybody is interested pm me and I will post pictures and if you like it you can have it because I need it gone because before long I'll be buying a new drum set then my tama swingstar will probably take it's place on the floor.

I would be, but I bet the shipping is pretty pricey on something that big

here's a link to the pictures of the drum set

it said that it's about $55 for oversized loads for my area, but depending on where you live it might vary a little.

http://viewmorepics.myspace.com/index.cfm?...albumId=2361175

for some strange reason it won't let me upload pics to the forums, any trouble shooting tips?

kit=gone drumchic snatched it up, I'll post some other stuff once it runs it's course.

I've never been interested in learning how most of this stuff works, but I did find out that you can't add pictures to FDL that come from "dynamic pages". Photobucket has a "direct link" that does work. I didn't see a similar option for myspace.
