THE SETUP HAS CHANGED SINCE I PUT THEM TOGETHER AND IM HOPING TO GET SOME REAL CYMBALS. THE KIT CONTAINS AN ALESIS DM5 AND A PINTECH ECHO, BOTH FRAMES ARE USED TO HOLD IT TOGETHER SO THIS IS A ONE OF A KIND KIT. ITS PUT OUT THROUGH AN AXL MINI-AMP FOR EFFECTS AND THEN A BEHRINGER 90 WATT PA AMP AND MY MUSIC ROOM JUST VIBRATES WHEN I GET INTO A GROOVE.

the kit in question a Gretsch American custom 1986 8 piece single head drum rig with floating toms mounted on stands rather than the kick drum etc, two floating open floor toms on heavy cymbal stands etc. with a custom maple snare etc in cherry red. similar to phil collins' kit but with some improvements.
sadly Gretsch no longer produce these kits.

At the moment I could say I have my dream kit, but taste always change
I have a 6 piece Mapex Saturn on a Sienna Burst lacquer finis look beautiful sound awesome.
Now I like exotic drums (woods) so I would like to try the Beech wood from Yamaha, on the other hand own a Tama Bubiga kit would be great, also a already discontinue Peal Mahogany set might sound mighty (as I own a Mahogany snare and I love the sound of that thing), also maybe a Pearl reference as I have heard great things about them, and lastly that comes to mind is also a special edition kit from Mapex all Walnut shell kit. # of drums or sizes well thats something different, and Im not a big fan of double bass, so u get the idea
