Jared looks so young in this video.
I haven't spent the time to master this technique but the video explains it well and offers useful tips on how to get up and running more quickly using a pad. I wasn't sure how this could be incorporated into regular drumming (not just showmanship in a fill), but the beats in the video utilizing a one-handed roll do sound cool and helped me see the real value of learning it.

I guess I'll get back on topic
I got the One Handed Drum Roll DVD for Christmas, and just finished watching it. Now that I'm done, I must say that Jared Falk is some sort of magician. All of the videos on Youtube and anything else I've seen about the one handed roll did nothing. I can now do a one handed roll, after just finishing the video. I'm not going to say I've mastered it, but I can do it now and will work on implementing it on the kit and working on timing and control.
Awesome job Jared

Do we have a specific lesson for that? ( free in this site?
)
"If I want to be saved because of Your blessings, send me to hell. If I want to be saved because I'm afraid of hell, send me to hell. But if I want to be saved because of who You are Lord, then take me within Your arms!" -Unknow author.

I got the DVD and watched some parts and solos, sounds really good, I just need to manage my time and try to practice both handroll and heel toe at same toe.

If you can do both at the same time, you need to post a video of it.
I was gonna say...

As far as instructionally this DVD is great. It does a perfect job explaining how to learn a one handed drum roll. THe only two criticisms I have are that Jared looks so out of it and unenthusiastic the whole time...which isn't a big deal....and the beats shown are basically just doing the same thing with the one handed drum roll while doing different things with the other hand...It would have been nice to have some beats where the one handed roll wasn't doing the same thing for everyone one....
