Did they confirm your shipping address on the phone with you? Occasionally, there will be an error in the shipping address when you placed your order, and this can delay the package shipment.

Don't worry though, we are here to help and WILL make sure you get your package. Again, I am so sorry about the delay. I know how frustrating it can be to have to wait...Thanks for your patience.

Yes they conirmed my address . I know its not on your end Horse ond buggy would have been faster

After going through this course, my humble opinion is that it is great for beginners and intermediate drummers, but not so much for advanced drummers. The things this course is best at is teaching you how to achieve different sounds and such in drumming and it also teaches incredible independence. As far as cool beats and fills...I really wasn't blown away or left thinking "Wow that was cool" by any of the beats or fills in the books. Alot of them don't seem applicable to alot of rock drumming situations. But it does give you all the building blocks and tools necessary to come up with your own. I do highly recommend it to beginner drummers.

Really?
I'm surprised..But I'm not an advanced drummer..
This was designed for the aspiring drummer to focus in on "rock"

I liked the all the lessons offered in it and the play alongs are great IMHO..
I would consider myself intermediate, and found some of it very challenging.

Have you checked out the Drum Play Along System?

Thanks SOO much for your feedback. I really don't know what to say as there are so many beats out there, and there are so many drummers who have practiced the beats and fills in the package and really loved them. So I know a lot of that has to do with personal preference. What sort of beats do you like to learn?

Also, I was the one filming and playing all the 600+ beats and fills in the Rock Drumming System. I am pretty sure that it is impossible to play through each beat perfectly in one hour. If you can do this, I would LOVE to see it. Send me a 1 hour video of yourself playing ALL the beats in the package and I'll pay you handsomely for your time.

Oh, and one more thing. If you bought the package you have 90 days to return it if you are unsatisfied for any reason.

Thanks again for your feedback. Happy drumming!

IDK I guess I'll give some examples...

DRUM TABS
C:----------------:
H:xdxxxdx-xdxxxd-d:
S:----o--o----o-d-:
B:o-o--oo-o-o-----:

 H:x-xO-xx-x-XXX-x-: x-x-x----xxxx-x-:
 S:--------o-------: --o--dooo----o-o:
 B:o--o--o-------o-: o---o---------o-:
  :1e+a2e+a3e+a4e+a: 1e+a2e+a3e+a4e+a:

Yeah maybe I was expecting some more lessons about fills combining every part of the kit (toms cymbals ...everything)
ANd beats combining every part of the kit...not just have straight up tom beats or straight up..non-tom beats...

And no I'm not complaining I'm just saying its not for super advanced people (which I'm definately not) because it only gives like building blocks for playing stuff...mebe I was expecting a library of crazy beats and fills....thats all...I won't be returning it since i didn't even pay for it....lol...and I guess i might have exaggerated a little on my playing it all in an hour. it was only the first two books..I wasn't paying attention that's just what it felt like...

Again I recommend it for beginner and intermediate drummers.....

Suggestion regarding Bass Drum on some lessons at the higher tempo.

When heal toe is being used, inform the student.

Not teach it but do make it known that an advanced technique is being used. It may alleviate frustration for some students. They may even progress a little quicker once they learn it and can then work on speed without heal toe at their leisure if they so choose.

I don't think master Falk necessarily realizes he does it. Thank goodness for the camera on his kicks. :)

Rather than look to find my old posts, I thought I would post another view in this section.

Who I would recomend this for:
Begining, Intermediate, and Intermediate/Advanced drummers. This package is not for expert drummers who have been playing for years, but then again I don't think expert drummers are necessarily the target audience.

What it covers:
This gives you everything you need to go from being a begining drummer to be on your way as an advanced drummer. Jared does an excellent job in the begining books of breaking down everything to start working on your indepence and timing. The more advanced books cover an incredible amount of beats and fills at faster speeds with more diverse limb independence.

Structure:
For the most part the structure is excellent but I think there are some things out of place. The early rudiment lessons in the beginer books that incorporate 32nd note excercises are definetly above most beginers skill level. They are great timing excercises and I still use them on my pad, but I think they would be better suited at the end of the intermediate book. I know that when I was working on items in the early portion of the intermediate section I was still not quite ready to delve in to working 16th note triplets back and forth with 32nd notes. The speed segments are especially challenging early on, because one of the things not covered in great depth is finger control/speed. This is why I highly recomend the Moeller Method DVD set when purchasing the RDS because it does provide the tools necessary to do these excercises. The structure of the intermediate book flows extremely well, although once again the bass techniques necessary to really be succesful at the 16th note triplet bass beats are lacking. This is where the Bass Drumming package comes in handy. This is great for marketing but not necessarily as helpful for instructional material. Last I think the advanced book is organized great, it builds on itself nicely and has appropriate challenges to work on. There are a wide ranges of fills/beats and excercies to improve ones drumming.

Overall:
This is a fantastic instructional system. My drumming would be nowhere near where it is today (without it), and after a year based on what I can play I do consider myself a more advanced drummer (nowhere near the expert level of the instructors here). This system was the cornerstone of my drumming education, and I would recomend it to anyone looking to learn how to play the drums. Their is an incredible amount of content in this system and it is well worth the money. I would love to see RRM release an expert drumming supplement that delves in to more complex (Rush/Dream Theatre) style beats and fills, that would compliment this system nicely. If you are looking to learn how to play the drums, this is the system to start with.

Before I got the Rock Drumming System I was a just a noob with a fair amount of talent. I had been drumming for about 4 months and I didnt really know what I should practice to take my drumming to the next level. With the RDS everything changed. The RDS gave me a structure in my every day practice. It was like having a drum teacher in my home, but much cheaper. The easy to follow lessons really helped me with getting down all the essential patterns that are played by all the pro drummers out there. At this point I have only worked through the beginner and intermediate sections, but I have alredy got so much better, and after about one year of drumming I have alredy been asked to come and play with local bands where I live. This quick progress would simply not be possible without this drumming system. Right now I am working on the advanced section and I cant imagine what I will be able to do on the drums when I work all the way through it.

I strongly recommend this drumming system to all beginner/intermediate drummers.

I have some questions about your post:

You said before the RDS you only had 4 months experience. Then you said the RDS helped out a lot and gave you structure to your practice. You then say that you have worked through the beginner and advanced RDS. Then you said after about 1 year of drumming you were asked to play in local bands!!!

So my questions are:
1) The RDS system actually gives you structure to your practicing? How so, please explain.
2) From the time you got the RDS system to the time that you got through the beginner and advanced RDS, how much time went by?
3) So if I am correct, you played drums for about 1 year and 4 months and bands wanted you to play with them already! That is amazing! Is this correct?
4) Did you ever take drum lessons with a drum instructor?
5) How long did you practice for each day?
6) Would you suggest drum instructor and RDS, only RDS or only drum instructor?

Think of the RDS being worth the equivelant of about 15-30 drum lessons (depending on your skill). Where else are you going to get lessons of this quality for less than $10 a lesson. Yes it is expensive but it's worth ever cent.
