Back from North Carolina.

This is the home that I hope to buy.

I took these at the building inspection on Friday. The only thing the inspector found wrong was a outside electrical outlet that the proctective cove was cracked.

The house has a new air conditioning unit, new heating unit, new windows, new garage door opener, new appliances in the kitchen. All the electrical wireing has been replaced. The house was built in 1966 when they still had screw in fuses, now it has all new circuit breakers.

There is a sun porch at the back that is 18'x 20', and a full basement that is divided into 2 rooms. The one room is towards the back of the house and between the concrete walls and the fact that, because the ground is right up to the top of that section, I wouldn't have to do any sound proofing for my drums.

The neighborhood is beautiful and ends in a cul-de-sac. If you watch the video, you will see that there are a lot of trees on the property (.4 acre ). If there is a downside to it, I couldn't find it.
The location is in Statesville, which puts me about 30 miles north of Charlotte and 12 miles north of Mooresville which has a variety of malls that have everything from Staples to TJ Maxx.

Now it's just the VA appraisal I have to worry about. I should know in a few days.
