Does anyone knows a good recording software that meets the following requirement:

Record a 3 hr session on a single track/take?

I used Sonar 7 and despite the fact that I splitted some takes into different files the thing just stopped recoding when we were on the middle of a jamming session and we lost most of the last part. That take should have been about 35 min but it's like 20 instead.
