What do you want to know? They are highly regarded and tend to have more of a low end tubby sound. They look great as well and have smaller lugs than the DW Classics. Many people that own them are saying that they are very close in sound to the classics ans of course more affordable. If you are ordering one expect to wait anywhere from 3-6 months. If you can get one at a local store you may be better off.

Just search youtube, there are tons of vids on the performance series.

I ordered one back in august last year and it arrived just before Christmas. I've played quite a few kits over the years and was seriously considering a DW Collectors when I found out about the Performance Series. My only reservation about getting one was that there was nowhere I could actually play one and hear what they sound like in person (IMHO the vids on YouTube (DW's marketing stuff, Cobus and many others) seemed heavily EQ'd and post processed). Any reservation about the sound was quashed when it arrived - I upgraded the heads to Evans G2 and haven't looked back. The quality of the kit is as good as any Collectors Kit I have looked at or played, though the shells aren't timbre matched to a specific note (not that that really bothers me). The hardware is top quality. I would recommend it to anyone who has aspirations to own a Collectors but doesn't want (or can't afford) to pay the atronomical prices.
