I was at a yard sale and I saw an Electric Guitar with Bass Strings on it... The guy said I couldn't touch it. The neck looked like it was bending inward. I While I was staring at it I thought the neck was about to snap in half so I quickly left the yard sale... Any thoughts on this?

LOL. Electric guitar strings are quite thin. Even the fatterdeeper strings are thin. So, for someone to think those giant bass strings wouldn't be a problem is well beyond my logic. . . lol

I've heard of using ONE bass string (the G string) on a guitar because when you down tune really far the low string looses too much tension. But putting all bass strings on a guitar?!...Hasn't the dude ever heard of a BASS GUITAR? lol
