They may not have Roddy speed, but are way more inventive.

No doubt that she plays to the cameras, but, I think on the whole she is having fun.
Doesn't it say in the Bible somewhere to "go forth and market thyself".
There is no denying that she can play, and I'd rather watch that then some of these idiots that look like they are having a seizure on stage.
The funny thing is, she reminds me of Cascadiarocks without the shades.

Right, idiots to you like Keith Moon.
One of the Funk Brother's comments on the "Shadows of Motown" documentary reminded me of you: "I was cocky cause I was a Jazz musician. You're supposed to be cocky if you're a Jazz musician". No offense, but it seems like he's right.
You're comparing apples to oranges. She's not even onstage playing for an audience.
To be honest Poco pretty much expressed the same sentiment I got when I had my first impression of her. I had to make an effort to look through her act to focus on her drumming. And that mime thing, creepy. People are capable of a RANGE of emotions, not just smiling, that's a sign of authenticity.
Here's some more idiotic seizure for you:
Enjoy

Yeah, Moon was indeed a idiot.
I didn't say she was playing to the crowd, I said she was playing to the camera.
When she is playing to the music, she plays to the music. If she smiles after (or during, for that matter) what difference does it make.
When the song was over, the video guy kept the tape rolling so she has some fun. I have no idea where you get that what she did was "creepy".
If the remark about being cocky meant me, maybe you are right.
As for the other video, I've seen it before. They were obviously having fun, but, at the same time it's not what I would have in my band, but that's just a personal opinion, not a knock on those guys.
Now I have to get back to another forum where I'm in the middle of a "debate" about Hendrix and Moon.

Umm, that's interesting. Who would need a concert then? Why are there "pop" artists then? Why do artists get picked up by their looks then?

All interesting questions that need to be answered. Don't know by who, but they should be answered.
However, if you look at it in a completely logical way, with no bias of any sort, letting nothing but the music itself dictate how to examine this.
I'M WITH POCO.

I've been told by my doctors that I'll probably never be able to have kids, but, I'm willing to try.
