Hey everyone!

I just did some new videos on YouTube. I put a lot of time and money into them so I'd be stoked if everyone could check them out. I posted a video below and also a link to my channel for more videos. Thanks!!!

Pro level drumming. Great sound and video. If you don't mind me asking, how much did you invest in getting this video shot? Everything turned out great and it's not over done or under done, it's just right. :D

For all the beginners out there watching this video, take a close look at this guys left hand during the high hat work near the beginning of the vid. See all the space between the butt of the stick and his palm. That's exactly what I've been trying to tell ya all about the grip.
My DVD collection: Drumming System, Rock Drumming System, Drum Rudiment System, Drum Playalong System, Moeller Method Secrets, Jo Jo Mayer Secret Weapons, Tim Waterson on Bass Drum, Breaking the Code, Groove Essentials 1.0, and one that is currently blowing my mind: Tommy Igoe's Great Hands for a Lifetime

That video was absolutely brilliant, excellent technique and a brilliant performance! What size cymbals are you using there, especially your crashes, they sound huge!

What everyone else said, good stuff. You're my 259th subscription ;)

Your original songs are good, is that your band or are you a one man band?

Thank you! Between the video production company, recording studio, mixing, mastering, etc; it came to about $2,000 for the six songs. Had to sell my motorcycle to pay for it...

That's exactly what I was going for, did not want it over done or under done.

Thanks! For cymbals, if your sitting behind the kit, from right to left: 18" Zildjian China, 22" K Custom crash/ride, 21" A Custom ride, 20" Sabian AAX crash, 14" high hats (A Custom bottom, K Custom top).

Nice! Thanks! Yes, that was my band Of Fate and Chance. We recently went our separate ways, which is why I decided to shoot the videos. Find myself a new band.

Why did you guys break up? It seems like its their loss for sure.

Jon, after watching your videos I must say only one thing:

You really are PRO!
Great performance, all smooth and groovey :) Hope I'll reach such a level of performance one day :)

P.S. I like the way your cymbals shine :P

I love the sound of that K Custom 22" Crash/Ride.

Just a thought, I think you should add descriptions to the videos with your intention to find a band to play with, also maybe a few more details like location etc. It's on the Everlong video but on none of the others.

I've never heard of a 'K' Custom crash/ride other than a rare 19" dry. There are several 'K' crash/rides, with the 21" brilliant probably being the most common. Does your cymbal actually have the "Custom" logo on it? If so, it must be rarity. Regardless, it sounds great. The first crash/ride I've heard that I actually think works well for both.
. There are no stupid questions, just stupid people.

Eh, it's a little complicated. We were together for over 10 years, never made it to the level we wanted to be at. It's a shame, but made me the drummer I am today.

Your probably right. I must get a little excited typing 'custom' after cymbal names. I'm going to double check tomorrow. I bought it a few years ago, but pretty sure this is the cymbal:
