Hey everyone,

I'm back with a brand new video series that should be a lot of fun. "The Bleed Chronicles: Playing Meshuggah With One Foot" is a series that I am setting up as a challenge to myself. A youtube user jokingly suggested that I play the opening drum part to "Bleed" by Meshuggah using only one foot. Well, I've decided to say "eff it" and go for it. My goal is to try and get as close to the tempo of Tomas Haake's original drum part as possible using only single pedal.

NOTE: I am well aware that this is probably an impossible task, but I've decided to take it on anyway because it can only help me grow as both a musician and a drummer. ALWAYS challenge yourself!

Part 1 simply explains my goal, demonstrates the bass drum pattern I will be playing, and what I am currently up to after working with it for about one week. I hope you guys enjoy and I look forward to pushing harder for Part 2!
