I would be satisfied with a nice DW kit, two hi toms, two floor, and a 22x16 bass drum. Soultone cymbals of course.

As far as the kit of dreams, If I had $15,000 to throw away, I'd have a fully custom kit made through Sonor's SQ2 drum system. Two kick drums, two toms up, two down. A thick snare drum. Like 13x8. I could really go on about this all night...
Cat's Foot; Iron Claw; Neurosurgeons scream for more; innocence @#$%^ with napalm fire; everything I want I really need.

I almost have my dream kit. I have the kit and the cymbal setup, I just need better cymbals than entry level. I wouldn't mind having one more tom and a few splashes/other small effects cymbals though.

I'm SO happy with my 8 piece Pearl. 2 Bass drums, 3 rack toms, and 2 floor Toms. I loveeeeeeeeee it!
Now as for cymbals I have mainly ZBTs :/ I'm saving up for:
18 Byzance Brilliant thin crash
16 and 18 Wuhan chinas
14 Gen. X filter China
Mb10 Bell Blast ride
14 soundcaster custom soundwave hats

oh and a Joey Jordison snare :D

I like my 6 piece, 3 up 1 down Mapex M Birch Kit. As for my cymbals, I have my ideal collection of sabians: 19" Holy China, 5" Bell, 10" AA splash, 10" AA china splash, 16" AA Thin Crash, 20" AA ride, 16" HHX Evolution Crash, 18" Vault Artisan Crash and 14" AAX Studio Hats.
That being said, I'll be acquiring a Tama Speedcobra double pedal for christmas, and after summer and tuition fees are paid off, I'll be saving up for a 5 piece Tama Starclassic Birch Bubinga kit in Black Clouds & Silver Linings finish. Oh yeah.

Tama Starclassic Bubinga 22x18 Bass, 7x8,8x10 and 9x12 Mounted Toms, 14x14 and 16x16 Floor Tom and probably a set of octabans just for the hell of it. And prolly a 6x14 Warlord Snare and 4x12 Metalworks Snare

As for the cymbals probably a mixture of Paiste's. Everything from Dark Energy to classic 2002's
Heads:Remo of course: Coated Controlled Sound on snare batter,Ambasasador Snare Side on reso
Clear Ambassador on tops and bottoms of toms, Powerstroke Pro on bass

And to top it off probably a some random latin percussion stuff
