Got Benny Greb's app for my phone. It's really cool, but it doesn't divide the notes into 8th note triplets for shuffle beats. Do you guys know any other apps that will? Thanks for your help.

What's the difference between the drumtrainer, drumtrainer - Benny Greb, and drumtrainer - Rick Latham?

edit: Nevermind, I found the website and watched the videos.

I want an app that does what Benny Greb's does, but will divide the notes into 8th note triplets for shuffle beats. Does the FDL app do this?

Isn't that ironic...

Not when you are a developer and know Apple's market policies. ;)

Doesn't change the irony.
In other words, it made me laugh a little bit when I saw a product titled "free" and it costs money. My comment doesn't say anything about the price being unfair, a great deal, or otherwise. It was purely an editorial comment.

Then you should post that on the Apple forums. Where it actually applies.

A lawyer would probably tell you that in this case free doesn't mean free but it refers to the website in question: "freedrumlessons.com" and as such it complies with the rules.

Unless you explicitly say that's an editorial comment in your original posts it might get interpreted as freedrumlesson's .com fault when it isn't. It's Apple's fault.

I got the FDL app, a metronome and just downloaded the PRG Lite app for the iPhone. The PRG app is pretty cool. Takes some of the guess work out of practicing.

The metronome on the Ultimate guitar app is very good. It doesn't have an annoying sound and you can make it count pretty much whatever time signature you want. It only goes up to 200BPM though <_<

I found a free APP yesterday called jammit. The songs cost $0.99-$5.99, there is a limited selection, but you can subtract certain parts like vocals or drums so you can use the song without them. It does show the tabs and you can slow the song down to a tempo you can learn fills. www.jammit.com its worth checking out.

One word: Jammit!
Best app for drums, IMO.
