Sorry if this sounds picky. I would appreciate it if I could list the maker of my equipment in my profile. As of right now it's not on the pull-down. It doesn't sit well with me to label my kit "other". OK, I'm a cry baby.

Not only out of curiosity, but also maybe it can be added to the list.

How about a box to type in the info.

I have nothing to do with this site. However, I am a software engineer. I know that this is site is existing software, i.e. the maintainers don't necessarily have the ability to alter the features of the software. But obviously they can determine the items in that list. So, I'm assuming it would be easier for them to add your vender to the list than to add the "other" functionality.
