Cry havoc and let loose the dogs of law
On bones of democracy they yearn to gnaw
Every morsel of fact washed away in the flood
Of innocent tears and innocent blood

I know I asked this on a different thread, but I may have posted it on a thread where the question didn't fit in. The deeper the tom I hit, the more it resonates. Is that normal? My 10 tom resonates a BIT, my 12 inch resonates a bit more, then my 14 and 16 resonate great. Is that like a tuning problem, or a muffling problem? All my toms have the same muffling. an evans e-ring. And, I don't think my toms are badly tuned. So, I've got no idea what's making them do this.
Favorite Made-Up Quote: You can say something a thousand times, but that doesn't mean it's written in stone.
The Lesson: Don't believe everything you hear from somebody, especially when their conduct disproves it.

That guy that has the Evans tuning videos on youtube also has a video on toms and resonance. Go check him out. Sorry I can't remember his name but I know both you and I like him and scotch doesn't.
