I've taken an interest in developing websites and was curious as to what web developing software is used for drumlessons.com

Thanks,
Mia

The forums are IPB. The rest of the site was probably either made with something like Dreamweaver or just coded by hand.

You're right. The forum is IPB which is canned software which has been HEAVILY modded by our developer.

The site runs off of Wordpress and was designed and coded within Dreamweaver, Photoshop, and Fireworks.

Hi Mia

This site is built on Wordpress, but has a lot of modifications.
Some of our editors use Dreamweaver but I use Coda and CSS Edit. I find it to be a lot more powerful than Dreamweaver.
If you have the luxury of a Windows box, Aptana and Komodo are popular for power users. You'll definitely not regret learning more powerful tools than Dreamweaver. Not that Dreamweaver is bad, it's just that there is a lot more out there if you're going a long way with it.

Also I do a lot of command line work using Ubuntu but I use iTerm if I'm on a Mac.

Hope that's a helpful starting point. Let me know if you have other questions.

Regards,
Kenton
