Here's a drum video I made today, in the styles of techno. I used a Zildjian 6" splash on top of my left side 12" snare to achieve a more white noise effect.
Please let me know what you think.

Excellent drumming, dude! I love the sound of your kit--especially your higher-tuned snare in the first video! May I ask what type of snare drum it is and what type of heads you have on it? :)

Thanks man. The first snare, is a Sonor 5x14" Artist series Vintage Maple Shell, with gold hardware. I have Evans ST Dry on top with a Evans 200 series snare side. Thanks again.

Nice job Greg. You appeared looser and seemed to have a better sense of feel in this video than the previous ones. Is the sound on the video from the flip camera?

Thank you, I'm starting to get less nervous when I make these video's. In the beginning I was terrified! The sound is my studio microphones, unfortunately the Flip camera sound is HORRIBLE Mega Distortion. I put the Flip video and my studio audio (CD) into Sony Vegas PLatinum 10 for editing and alignment. A very easy process.
Thanks again.

Sounds great! I feel like I need to learn this same type of beat; I'd probably use variations of it in-between songs live. :)

Thanks, I appreciate it. I love Polyrhythms, they're challenging but fun. Today I shot a 4 over 5 Polyrhythmic video, I'll put it here and Youtube next week. Thanks again.

Thanks for your kind words. The stack cymbals are, Zildjian 12"/14" Trash hats. They've been discontinued, you can find them on bay. Or you can make your own hybrid type, with a 14" China bottom and a 12" Hi hat top on a X Hat.
Thanks again.
