Hello to all. Subrick here. Some of you may know who I am from Derek Roddy's and George Kollias's respective forums (although the only person I know is here that's also on those forums is Sean Lang). This will be my personal domain for all things me. Covers, collaborations, lessons, what have you. It'll all be here. So here's a few of my most recent drum videos to start things off.

The way Portnoy plays it on the record is with flams. Two snare, two kick, two tom, two kick, two tom, two kick, two snare.

Hey, I'm here too! I'm one both forums you mentioned :)

Not being a fan of that style of drumming, I guess I would have to say it was OK.

Dude you're awesome! I only have 2 minor criticisms:

1. You're a bit messy and it sounds muddy in some parts. I couldn't do better though.

2. I think it would really help if you expanded your musical range I'm going to assume your only focusing on metal type genre. If you don't, sorry you can totally ignore this. But styles like jazz, latin, etc. really helps with everything. Coordination, time, feel, musicality, you name it. It's pretty fun too...

1. That can be chalked up to the garbage audio on the video.

2. I do play more than metal. I play pop, normal rock, punk, fusion, and others. I just love playing metal the most.
